The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) defeated the New York Jets (0-1) 24-16 n Friday night at New Jersey to start the preseason schedule with a win.
Connor Bazalak got the start at quarterback for the Buccaneers, going 12-for-20 with 72 yards. Jalon Daniels finished the game going 10-for-15 for 111 yards passing while running for another touchdown.
The Buccaneers return home to continue Training Camp this week and will host the Kansas City Chiefs in the second preseason game next Saturday night. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 PM on Saturday night - you can hear the game on 97.9 WXTB-FM - The Mighty 98 Rock.
