The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) defeated the Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) 16-15 on Saturday night at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to earn their second win of the preseason.
The starters played some in this one - while he was in the game, quarterback Baker Mayfield went 2-for-4 with 10 yards passing. The Buccaneers trailed 9-0 at halftime before undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels led three second half scoring drives to rally the Buccaneers to a 16-15 win. Daniels finished the game 9-for-14 with 71 passing yards and a touchdown in the air.
The Buccaneers return to practice for some joint practices with the Jaguars in Jacksonville this week before wrapping up the preseason against the Jaguars on Friday night. Kickoff in Jacksonville is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Friday night - you can hear the game on 97.9 WXTB-FM - The Mighty 98 Rock.
